Clock-in and Clock-out Procedures:
• Stagehands should use a designated time recording system, such as a time clock or digital timesheet app, to clock in and out.
• Clock-in and clock-out times must accurately reflect the actual start and end of work.
OVERTIME Procedures:
- OT is paid at 1.5x the hourly rate after10 working hours (excluding lunch). 
- DT is paid at 2x the hourly rate after 14 working hours. 
- Meal penalties (must be pre-approved by your PM) are paid at one additional OT HOUR. 
Steward or Crew Chief Approval:
• Stagehands are required to seek approval from the assigned steward or crew chief for clocking in and out.
• The steward or crew chief should verify the accuracy of the recorded times against the actual work performed.
Responsibilities of Steward or Crew Chief:
• Stewards or crew chiefs are responsible for reviewing and confirming the clock-in and clock-out times for each stagehand under their supervision.
• They should ensure that stagehands are adhering to the established work schedules and that any deviations are properly documented and justified.
Discrepancies and Corrections:
• If there are discrepancies between the recorded times and the actual hours worked, stagehands and the steward or crew chief should work together to resolve them promptly.
• Corrections or adjustments to timesheets should be made transparently and with appropriate explanations. These corrections should occur prior to accounts payable processes an Invoice.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
• All clock-in and clock-out times, as well as any approvals or corrections, should be accurately documented and retained for record-keeping purposes.
Consequences of Violations:
• Any violations of the time keeping policy may result in a voiding of the contractor agreement with Crew Call Labor Logistics
Regular Audits:
• Crew Call Labor Logistics shall conduct regular audits or spot-checks to ensure that the policy is being followed correctly.
Compliance with Labor Laws:
• The above policy is designed to ensure compliance with labor laws and to protect both the stagehands and the organization.
By implementing such a policy, we strive to enhance accountability and accuracy in tracking working hours, ensuring fair compensation for stagehands while maintaining compliance with labor laws and organizational standards.
